Marketing + Promotions: Who's King of the Water Cooler?
The world’s largest comedy club chain, The Improv, approached my business partner and I, who were already producing a weekly show, to develop a new comedy competition. Since the LA market was already flooded with traditional "Best of" shows, we knew there was an opportunity to try something fresh. We pitched “Who’s King of the Water Cooler?” And it went bonkers. The stage show was a hybrid of Whose Line is It? + American Idol. It was a big hit that gave everyday Janes and Joes the opportunity of a lifetime—to perform onstage at the world famous Improv for friends and family. Overall, it was one of the best times of my life.
