About

Hi,
As you can tell from this photo, I’m a grade-A badass.
I can’t help it. It’s in my blood. Every cell in my body rages with mind-blowing marketing juice.
People often ask, “auGi, what is the origin of your bad-ass-ness?”
It emerged during a 6th grade recess scuffle with Billy Ford. As we acted out our own Rumble in the Jungle or, as I prefer to call it—Two Guys Who Didn't Pass the President's Physical Fitness Test Flailing Beneath a Pine Tree—our animal instincts overpowered us.
After Billy punched me in the face and I returned the favor, we both said “ouch,” and immediately stopped.
There. Now you know why I’m such a badass. :)
You should also know that my career spans numerous roles including Creative Director, Marketing Director, Writer, Graphic Designer, Comedian, Show Producer, and I've launched three successful startups. So I've helped a lot of companies boost profits, build community, empower fundraisers, and a whole lot more.
Let me breathe new life into your campaigns and brand story. It's why some of the world's biggest organizations including AT&T, the National MS Society, and Ticketmaster love me so much.
Thanks for checking out my work.

WHAT I CAN BRING TO YOUR BUSINESS (AS TOLD THROUGH SOME OF MY GREATEST HITS)
Elevate Participation: Put a Face on Your Campaigns
How do you make your events stand out in a sea of competition? By showcasing the real people who support the cause. Featuring bold, personal sound bites and photos of individual participants, I conceived and executed multi-channel campaigns for Walk MS & Bike MS. In 2015, 6-of-10 featured individuals raised over $10,000 for the first time.
Reposition Your Brand when it’s Time to Get Funky
When I was promoted into this completely new position, AT&T was struggling to launch its virgin website hosting platform, Easy World Wide Web, into the emerging internet space. Despite investing significant resources, they had closed only one deal, and were under the gun to close a hundred more before year’s end. I re-branded the product offer as ZooBox: The Upside Down, Inside Out, Out of the Box, e-Business Solution; bundled hosting with email, website templates and a monthly consultation with a web expert (keep in mind, this was 1996—so this was a radical idea); and convinced management to dedicate a team of account executives (The e-Team) to exclusively sell ZooBox. Sales rocketed and we hit half a million in revenue within 90 days.
Build Your Community with a Blog
What do you do when HQ doesn’t provide the tools to share localized, long-form content in your market? You launch your own Wordpress site. I authored, edited and/or oversaw the development of 330+ posts offering research updates, health news, heartfelt client stories, and more.
Ignite Peer-to-Peer Fundraising with Personality
What’s the biggest challenge for peer-to-peer fundraisers? Demystifying “The Ask.” I crafted an ongoing series of practical fundraising tips in a playful, warm tone, ghost-written in the voice of our Walk MS/Bike MS event managers. They were a big hit, supporting 3-years of double-digit revenue growth.
Transform Complex Ideas into Content Anyone can Grasp
At Spectra, I wrote case studies and one-sheets to highlight the day-to-day benefits of their ticketing software with down-to-earth language. These simple collaterals empowered the sales team to win new business and bolster existing customers to buy-up.
THE SOFTWARE TOOLBOX
